So you want to start VENDING!!

I heard you wanted to get into the vending business.
May I ask…. WHY?Is it because you see the glamour parts of the business.

#1 Taking the money out of the machines?
#2 Riding from stop to stop surrounded by soda and candy?

Which of those is more of a motivator to you? Both of them are good motivators but there is a lot more to vending than just those 2 “glamour parts.”

Yes, taking cash money out the machine is probably the #1 motivator
but few people know all that is involved with starting a vending business.
I must tell you a little story. I was doing my husband’s vending route one late
afternoon. My stop was a middle school and it was just the time that the school
was letting out for the day. Now you know kids and junk food… well these kids
were no different. But there was one very tiny girl that was just so excited to see
me and NOT my husband filling this machine.

She was very chatty and wanted me to know just what they all liked and what she was sure would be really popular items. When I was done and ready to leave this young girl clenched her tiny fists to her chest and said…” I can’t wait to grow up and do just what your doing.”

I am not sure her parents would have thought this job was something for her to aspire to do. I have often wondered about what part of what I was doing did this petite little girl think looked like such fun.

Vending is a wonderful business but it is also good to know the, “How To” and the “What to Avoid” You’ll know all about the ins and the outs of vending when you read this book about the vending business.
